Throne

Furniture

The funniest thing about this Throne is that it probably never existed. Thrones in medieval times tended to look a little more like this. Ironically, the only reference I see to chairs that look like this are from sites selling props for movies and weddings, furniture stores, or companies selling bad stock photos.

All that said, perception is reality, so if everyone wants to think these are authentic throne seats from medieval castles, who am I to argue?

The luxury car can be purchased from Nook's Cranny for 800,000 Bells or from Wardell's catalog for 720,000 Poki.

You can sit on the Throne. It's the ultimate sign that you've "made it" in Animal Crossing New Horizons if you can sit on your throne wearing your Royal Crown, Royal Shirt, and Noble Pants.

The throne is the most expensive item you can buy at Nook's Cranny and the third most expensive item overall, next to the Crown and the Royal Crown that the Able Sisters sell.
If you want a "real" Throne chair, your best bet is this replica by Design Toscano, one of the top creators of historical replicas. It'll cost you only $2,600, a fraction of what some medieval monarch would have paid.

Design Toscano, who makes this replica, says that this chair was "originally created for Lord Thomas Stamford Raffles, who founded the British colony of Singapore". I don't see any evidence that Sir Raffles ever actually sat in a chair like this, so I'll chalk it up to a overzealous copywriter at Design Toscano. Sir Raffles did live during the Gothic Revival period, so it's certainly possible that this particular concept of what a medieval throne would (or should) have looked like came about during that time.

. If $2,600 for a Throne is too much for your blood, there's always Alibaba, who can get you a chair for under $400. If that's too much, you could always get some dollhouse furniture from Etsy. :)
