These days, it seems that clocks can do everything. They can tell you the weather, project onto the ceiling, use a rainbow of colors in their displays, tell you the time in Botswana, play the radio, and fly up in the air to wake you up. The problem is that I really just want it to do two things: tell me the time and wake me up. What I love about the digital alarm clock in Animal Crossing is its sheer simplicity.

How to get it IRL
The simplest clock I could find on Amazon that comes close to Animal Crossing's design is this Alarm Clock from Kwanwa. It has over 10,000 reviews and runs on 4 AA batteries, making it a great clock to take while traveling.
Another good match is the Timex T121B alarm clock, available at Walgreens.
