While coffee trees can only survive in hot climates (think the American South, Southwest, or southern California), many people don’t realize that they make fantastic houseplants. For years, I owned a coffee plant that became a flowering tree. The flowers are beautiful, delicate white blooms which turn into coffee beans, and they’re self-pollinating so you don’t even need to worry about that. You’re most likely not going to get enough beans to pick and roast indoors for a single cup of coffee, but they make a lovely houseplant and are surprisingly easy to take care of; just put them by a sunny window, make sure it always has enough water, and plant it in a very large pot.
Amazon has this Arabica Coffee Plant for sale. It comes in a 6" pot, but you'll want to transplant it into a large pot to give it plenty of room to grow.
