The pop-up toaster was patented by Charles Strite of Minnesota in 1921. He formed the Waters Genter Company and started selling his toaster under the brand name of “Toastmaster”. In 1926, he started selling it to consumers. Pop-up toasters continue to be popular today.
This 2-slice toaster from Bella seems to be a pretty good match to the Animal Crossing version. The buttons look a little different, but the overall shape and accents look pretty close. It helps that Bella is a top selling brand with some pretty good ratings.
